my very very last band camp with sp band is over :( but anyway it was a fruitful one. we had terence teow (yes, him!) coming down to sp to conduct flute lessons with us. he worked things really fast.. covered all the impt parts within 2 hours. too bad he's leaving for Melbourne soon.
so ytd after sectionals, kellyn, wx and i went to clementi for lunch. had a long chat... talk abt a lot of stuff. then trooped off to wx's place to slack. i like william bennett! wx's got one whole album of his recordings! :D
(wx, u know wat to do right) kellyn was sleeping like pig on the bed and.... im sure she'll tok abt it on her blog tgt with pictures so i shall not move on further. the evening band prac with mr tan was alright, but i wasn't in a very good condition. actually was quite upset with myself.. controlling of lip opening has always been a big problem for me! one of the reasons why sometimes i cant pitch accurately :( where the hell is my sweet spot?? i wanna be able to leap between all the high and low notes effortlessly like our goddess.
after prac, we intended to spend the night teaching kellyn some music theories... err we did, but after awhile we ended up chit-chatting, eating and watching movies. have u tried eating McSpicy and watching SAW 4 at the same time? really disgusting and brainless leh! why did we do it? no wonder wx and kellyn said the McSpicy tasted weird la.. and tt stupid kellyn, very evil. better dun do it again! *glare*
i had quite a nice sleep at the bunk, even though there were many ppl whispering and laughing and walking around.. and did i mention im a light sleeper? but i wasnt very affected by them last night.. sleeping beside kellyn wasnt as bad as wat linda described. yea she fidgets a lot, like monkey.. but at least she didnt wake me up to ask me why i fell asleep so quickly or some retarded questions. for the first time, i slept more than 4 hours during camp. maybe because i was already very very tired.. like now.. so sleepy. but i havent complete my report and pack my bag for tmr's batam trip :/
will be away from thurs to sat night. ciao! :)
P/S. anyway Maria Sharapova is coming to Singapore on 30th Dec!! can u believe it! :D
