on tues, i told the flute section: "if you wanna quit, quit now"
so one junior came to me and said she couldnt cope, and quitted immediately.
today, another flute junior told me he's thinking of quitting band.
is tis good or bad? i just didnt know the respond was so overwhelming! well at least it wasn't in a roundabout manner.
and i think SP's teaching system is changing already, the current year1s are fanatically busy! during our time, we could still go for sectionals almost everyday. so i cant make a comparison here.

and it seems like there's nothing we cant do to control cuz afterall studies is still the top priority.

but people just leave like tt, thinking that there won't be any difference without them.
so damn wrong pls
think about this, can anyone of us be better than ALL OF US? a section is more than just a group of people.. it has to go thru a process called give & take. the sacrifices u've made.. make them worthwhile. nothing is impossible or difficult when we've one another by our side.. and with a little more courage and determination, excellence can become reality already

and no matter how far we go, we win together, lose together, play together, stay together.

time is passing too fast! today is the last day of elearning already! :( till now i only completed 8 quizzes. i dunno what more i needa do. ges said elearning is like holiday... i dont feel so. at least for me. i spent them for band...organizing sectionals(which failed), graduation food, self-practising, attending concert and band rehearsal. plus doing elearning work...almost taken up all my free time. actually i was thinking to myself before i went to sleep last night, if i dun enjoy my band life now, i may regret after my poly life..when u start to work(and if it's hectic), u wont wanna spend ur precious weekends going for band. so right now, other than learning how to juggle, i'll also try to enjoy the process even if it's gg to be stressful.

yesterday, the flute section(km emily andrew 5d and me) went to wenxiang's house -which is right at the end of singapore- to make agar agar for graduation. don't think it's easy...if u had joined us u'd know. km, emily, fangyu and myself keep forgetting how many spoon of sugar we added into the agar agar liquid...supposedly 8, but everytime when we miscount at around 7 or 8 we'd just add extra 2 spoonful of sugar. surprisingly most of them didnt find the agar agar sweet enough. diabetes waiting for u~ anw i think the one with coconut taste better!

really wanna say a BIG THANK YOU to wenxiang who offered his kitchen...and his bedroom as well, cuz he has a tv set and lappy in his room and they were serving as our entertainment ytd. luckily his microphone was missing if not km and emily sure will sing! also wanna thank fangyu...she's the mastress of agar agar. thanks for helping out and teaching us how to make the agar agar. thanks for spending ur time to come down to jurong from novena. thanks for ur tray and coconut milk. i think the graduation party was alright, so don't complain. thanks committee and ah bass! ytd was like a big gathering or reunion dinner..miss the flute section, jiehong, adeline, shirley and candice. haven seen them for quite some time...and taking train back tgt was like going back to yr1? went to kallang for tomyam ytd...jiehong's treat! (: hope to see them again really soon!

didnt do much at home. woke up at 2pm, practise on flute, met jambo at night. unlike usual (we didnt have moo or fishball soup), we ordered murtabak for supper! the portion was soo big...and we ordered chicken but ah nei still gave us sardine! >:[

nothing much happened. had IBM band prac. so many pieces to learn...still haven start sectionals. couldnt come up with a date for it, so had it cancelled. do more self-practising flute section! thanks for those who played for grad day!

no sch today, but i feel so tired.

i woke up at 11am in shock, cuz im supposed to meet fangyu at 1220pm at clementi. obviously i was late, met her at 120pm. went to clementi ntuc bought those stuffs for graduation(which has been postponed to next week), then went to jurong point to look for her covered shoes. just for this river raft performance, she spent $42.00! haha but the shoes are really worth it (trust me). spent 2 and a half hour walking around in jurong point, was helping to give suggestions and make decisions. hahaha fangyu is very indecisive! went back to band after tt. didnt eat the whole day, only drank milk and bubble tea =D

band practice was quite ok... mr tan is getting more humourous! i didnt rmb laughing so hard in sp band 2years ago. anw made kellyn play the piccolo today. kinda random...but i promised to rotate picc players every prac. and i could tell that she was very reluctant, but everyone else was the same. i'm sorry. but wat should i do? i needa settle the parts really soon.

i think i can understand how xuechun felt when i turned her down right after IBM... i knew i wasnt a fantastic piccoloist, but still i think i owe her an apology! argh i just hate to be the bad person making this kinda decision! anyway something hilarous to share here, an entry i posted on 4 July 2005:

i'm busy with band. it took up 50% of my time already. i dun understand why they assigned piccolo parts for me to play...not as if i'm a good piccoloist. thanks to xuechun. i really have probs playing piccolo. i couldnt get the right tone and pitch. and metrognome and carmen's driving me crazy. high G. high G#. high A. i could sense the annoyance i created for that oboist sitting beside me last fri. my sky had turned grey. when will nightmare ends?

finally bought for one more day... albom never fails to make his readers sniffle abit for his stories. hmm it brought back memories like when i was little, that were also nostalgic. i kept reflecting on my own behaviour while reading, and at some point of time i felt regretful for certain things i have/could have done.

just believe that mother's love is smth powerful & can last a lifetime and beyond!

hey. a few events took place last weekend.

went for JC SYF on friday. met up with weifen, yy, stella, chun meng and brandon at around 7am at the SCH. woo first waking up at 5am! anw i think most of the bands played really well for both pieces, like sajc, vj, rj and cjc. apparently all of them sounded more matured, not many mistakes were made. the gwh bands were really impressive. i personally felt rj should get honours :/ still, congrats to all:)

my saturday and sunday were spent for rehearsals and concert with IFC. nice experience, but tiring. took many pics with solitarians but will post it again. Mr Nizam's in IFC! he sings really well. thanks for those who came...esp flute juniors, JAMBO HO and YONGRUI! :) had dinner with jam and yr, entertained them. jane played a stupid game with me on the bus and we laughed so hard! i think my image is completely ruined ytd night.

Ytd was Mother's Day. was busy with concert, so i owe my mum a bowl of big prawn noodles and one day of household chores! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO MY MUM:D

hihi. dunno what's wrong with blogger, couldnt log in during the past few days. anyway i'm in class now, having this boring practical :/ can u believe that i'm the earliest today? so shocking right.. haha i reached at 10am PROMPTLY. but that's because i thought the class started at 9am! :X

feel so stress and guilty. musical is on this sunday...gosh! ok it also means nightmare gonna be over soon. i needa do some self-practising

finally tried out our FYP last fri. walking on water! it's so difficult to do the balancing and my goodness i haven been exercising for months! nearly broke my bones last friday. and my muscles are still aching......damn. 4days already :( im planning to go swimming every sat morning. JAM BETTER COME WITH ME. and i think i should find a part time job. too slack...getting lazier.

anyone got idea what i should blog abt? very stress leh i see everyone's blog got new entry. wanted to talk about the FO camp, but everyone already blogged abt it. very stress..

i've been really lazy these few days, esp after the camp. very sleepy... today i slept 16 hours, still very tired. my mum told if u didnt sleep well for one night, u need one week of rest to compensate for it. finally went for moulmein prac last sunday! really got no mood to play. played vesuvius and mont blanc, i only played all the simple running notes. "sing sing sing" really suck, pls dun play that. went off half way with fangyu..i dunno how to describe us, we just looked like two walking zombies.

feel so lethargic now..and HEAVY. i wanna go swim tmr morning. hope i really wake up early. this week ate too much already...tsk very angry with myself.

suddenly grow sick of band...grrrrrrrrrr. VERY SICK OF IT. @^$&*#@*%$*(

hm wat else to blog.. ok went to mac for dinner with jambo just now. really eat to the max lor. dunno why i ordered upsize meal. feel like throwing up. very guilty!!!
