Hi finally im updating on MD! i think the concert was great, one of the best concerts i've played for so far :)
6Jan08 - Concert Daymet up with YY at about 230pm to go to VCH tgt. but he was super late! and since we were already so late, we decided to go to cityhall to buy breads for our section mates (don't u think we're very nice and thoughtful SL!). but because breadtalk doesnt accept NETS payment, we nearly couldnt pay for all the breads at the counter! luckily... we had just enough to pay for 10 breads (we took 11 tho). thank God! hahaha but it was so embarrassing!
when we reached VCH at about 3pm, everyone was on stage and ready for rehearsal. SP band looked really good. the harp and grand piano made us looked even better!
rehearsal ended at about 4pm. grabbed some food and went to change for concert. silly kellyn already started crying at backstage cuz she was worried abt her tuning. haha... but everything went well for her!

time on stage really passed very fast. so many months of hard work just finished off in 2 hours' time. 台上三分钟，台下十年功 - how true! but our hard work really paid off i feel!

my dearest cheekaymiang!!!!! it was a real pity that u couldnt join in for our last concert. i don't know if we'll get to perform again... chances are quite slim though! :(
really missed those days with u around, esp ur loud and irritating voice! haha oops! all ITP's fault la!! :( yes i still rmb those days with our crazy seniors around. and those days when we had to entertain each other to survive through long band pracs. heh. i really really enjoyed your company in band. i love you (even though u left us last sem)!
this is my childhood playmate, AMELIA ONG. haha. Remember the first day we met each other at foodcourt 3? 3 years have passed already! one of the proudest things i ever did in sp band was giving u a nickname that everyone is calling now. AH BASS. I love it! Thanks for being such a wonderful friend…I can’t state every event that happened during the past 3 years, but I want u to know that u have been a great great friend, and a great great president! :)

5D: hey cutie, i can’t imagine 3 years just passed like that. Thanks for all the wonderful moments we shared…I wanna even thank you for those unhappy moments, for they make our friendship stronger. Thanks for being part of my strength in sp band k.. u know this friendship meant a lot to me :) promise we’ll meet up very often even after we graduate, or when u got a new gf k? LOVE YOU!

Thanks for being so active in band even though u’re out of sp. thanks for arranging turkish march, if not we couldnt have won section comp! i’m so proud to have such a talented section mate! thanks for having trust in me, u should know why i said tt:) I’ll never forget those happy moments we share together, your techniques to defend rapists, as well as our very in tune high F! how I wish time pass slower… but i cant wait for our trip tgt already!
kellyn: i bet ur life will be very challenging when band starts! (let me see.. bf, studies, flute playing, SL, committee member, friends, family..etc) i know it’s not going to be easy, but promise me that you won’t give up on any of it k? there may be twists and turns on its path, but around every turn lies more things to learn. take this as a challenge, alright? anw, i think you’re matured enough to handle all these (since 5d said you’re too matured for your age!). Thanks for staying with the section, thanks for playing the piccolo (good job!) and thanks for being a very very understanding junior! I don’t know how often we’ll get to see each other after this, but I won’t forget those wonderful moments we share in the section and during our way back home for the past 9 months. I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH! so keep going on…take a rest if u must, but don’t give up. if u need help, I’m here for u!
joseph: i'm sorry that we (or I) made u feel unhappy about the section few months ago... but im glad things are better now! thanks for tolerating me so well! haha. hope u'll continue to work hard in flute playing, u and kellyn are the future leaders of the section! and stop hiding! all of us can see great potential in u, so make good use of it! lastly, promise not to game too much and study hard! good luck! :)
this is one of the very few photos i had with fangyu. a day before MD, we promised to take 100 pictures tgt.. haha obviously we didnt, but there were 10 crazy shots with her, which i'll upload once i get them. this picture is nice isnt it! 5d said we looked like sisters, haha! i'm gg to miss this girl a lot! :(

THANKS! :) i'll nv forget our bet! HAHA
oh and before i forgot, this is the gift i received from flute section! I REALLY LOVE IT ALOT! the most unique gift i ever received! :D

yeah, this is the man who made me come to SP to join its band! he has been my greatest inspiration and motivation in music... if not for him, i wouldn't have learn and improve so much! i really thank him for having so much faith in us.. the band wouldnt have progressed if we didnt get to play and practise pieces like Fantasy Variations, Moorside Suite, Five Variants, Die Meistersinger..etc. he's Leonard Tan, the best conductor one could ever have. i'll miss him very very much!

i really enjoyed my 3 years in SP Band. i've met so many nice people and good players, and learnt so much from them. really hate to leave now! :( if i can, i wanna go back to year1 and start everything all over again! i love sp band!
